Airimuv 502 has been specifically developed to protect you from the harmful effects of viruses, bacteria, and fungi, particulate such as dust & pollen and mal odours. Airimuv 502 has a lot of advantages over other air purifiers:

  1. Ozone Purifiers – To reach a significant performance level it is necessary for ozone purifiers to use an ozone level that is higher than acceptable safe levels unless the area treated is unoccupied. Ozone could at high levels affect lungs, worsen asthma, irritate your throat, cause coughs, cause chest pain and affect breathing. Air particles such as pollen are not destroyed.
  2. Thermal Sterilizers– Although thermal sterilizers are definitely effective against bactericides & germicides, the high temperatures required (interior 250-300oc, exterior 60oc) do not allow a sufficiently high air flow so performance levels are reduced. Thermal sterilizers will treat up to 80% of a 30m2 room in 3-4 weeks
  3. HEPA Filter Purifiers – Filters do not destroy viruses, bacteria, fungi, pollen but just trap them. Moreover, heap filters must be changed regularly to maintain an acceptable level of air treatment. If the filter is not changed micro-organisms may be diffused back into the air. Standard HEPA filters only stop particles whose size is equal to or more than 0.3 microns. Approximately 80% of viruses & allergens are smaller than this.

HOW AIRIMUV 502 WORKS

  • Interior air enters into AIRIMUV 502 via a specific cylinder, AIRIMUT-01 during the disinfection process
  • Inside this tube, air is subjected to UV flow through a specific frequency altering the living cells DNA (microbes, viruses etc) as well as the molecules conducting odours.
  • The surface of the cylinder inside is covered with photo catalytist gel, EMAVAB 401. Once exposed to UV flow, the catalyst creates a radical species that degrades most of the chemical pollutants.
